Dreams Do Come True - An Interview with JB Lexington

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I loved to draw growing up, everything from realism to abstract. So naturally I thought I wanted to be an artist. That didn’t happen, I guess now the artist in me has manifested itself through words.

Did you ever give up on your dreams?
Never! I may not have seen them through just altered them to be more realistic and possibly with greater reward.

What advice do you have for people who are trying to decide if they should chase their dreams?
I would say be true to yourself. Nothing in this world is unattainable if you work hard. You appreciate your rewards in life so much more if you earn them. Self entitlement is a cop out. Be proud of who you are and never apologize for what you want in life.
